The American Congress is currently examining a bill aiming at restricting online tracking – the Do-Not-Track-Me-Online Act. It should introduce an obligation for any online-tracking firm to allow citizens to opt-out of tracking.

Il Parlamento americano sta esaminando una proposta di riforma che punta a ridurre il rilevamento delle connessioni online – il Do Not Track Me Online Act (legge denominata “non seguirmi quando sono online”). Tale legge dovrebbe introdurre l’obbligo per ogni società che permette il rilevamento delle connessioni, di dare la possibilità ai cittadini di rifiutare tale tipo di controllo.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions - IOSCO published a report on 12 June to regulate oil markets.

The real economy is entirely financiarized, it is the same for the oil economy. This is why the G20 has asked to the "Organisation internationale des commissions de valeurs" - OICV (International Organization of Securities Commissions) to reflect back on how oil markets could be regulated, what they are currently not, because the market remains an over-the-counter market. Financial regulators, in a report published on June 12, 2012, suggest that at least the information be controlled, fluctuations in the price of a barrel are reviewed and the functions of "the information agencies," should be inspected, but also the role of traders that communicate them information. Regulation, so shy it is, starts with information. On the matter of oil, transparency is not expected and geopolitics often excludes it.

In the serie of conferences organized by the Journal of Regulation & Compliance (JoRC) on the topic of the Europe of Compliance, Jean-Jacques Daigre presented the general theme of this conference which took place on May 30, 2018 on the Compliance as an opportunity need to be seized by European companies.

By this, he made the general introduction to the conference that Xavier Musca, deputy director general of the Crédit Agricole Group, made on the way in which European companies of global dimension  which had integrated this phenomenon could  contribute to this Europe of Compliance, before Pierre Vimont reacted to these both speeches in a more institutional perspective.

Germany adopted a law modifying its investment legal framework in application of the UCITS IV Directive (Directive 2009/65/EC) on December 15th, 2010. This law introduces three main changes, in taxation, in the framework of micro finance funds and in the supervisory regime for investments.

In France, the Minister of Ecology has issued an Order to facilitate the purchase of electricity generated by wind. The text is being challenged before the "Conseil d’Etat" (State Council) for illegality, in that it constitutes state aid. The State Council considers the matter serious enough to suspend the proceeding and seized the Court of Justice of the European Union of a preliminary question on 15 May 2012.


FRENCH

En France, le ministre de l’Ecologie a émis une ordonnance afin de faciliter l’achat de l’électricité produite par le vent. Le texte est actuellement contestée devant le «Conseil d’Etat" (Conseil d’Etat) pour cause d’illégalité, en ce qu’elle constitue une aide d’Etat. Le Conseil d’Etat considère que l’affaire suffisamment grave pour suspendre la procédure et saisi la Cour de justice de l’Union européenne d’une question préjudicielle le 15 mai 2012.
