POIGET, Philippe

Philippe Poiget became a member of the Fédération Française des Sociétés d’Assurances (FFSA) in 1985 and then became their Director of Legal, Tax, and Competition Affairs in 2002.

From 2006 to 2009, he served as President of the Organisme pour le registre d’intérmédiaire en assurances (ORIAS). He is also a member of board of the Fonds de Garantie contre la défaillance des sociétés d’assurances de personnes (FGAP), of the Comité consultatif du secteur financier, of the Comité consultatif de la législation et de la règlementation financières, and of the Commission des clauses abusives. In 2010, he became a member of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel’s (ACP) Commission consultative ’pratiques commerciales’. 

He is the author of a number of articles, and participates in conferences on various themes, such as L’acces aux assurances : un droit pour tous ? (Access to Insurance: a right for all?) organized by the HALDE in November 2010.
