Edouard de Lamaze, an Attorney at the Paris Bar, was successively a delegate to the Caisse Nationale des Barreaux français (CNBF), elected by the Paris Bar to be a member of the Union Nationale des Professions Libérales , President of the Union des jeunes avocats de Paris, and President of the Fédération nationale des unions de jeunes avocats (FNUJA).

 

In 1995, he was elected Member of the Conseil de l'Ordre de Paris. He then became the inter-ministerial delegate for independent professionals and the general secretary of the Comité interministériel aux professions libérales. Since 2004, he has been the President of the Observatoire nationale des professions libérales (ONPL).

 

In 2006, he was nominated to the Commission des comptes des services auprès du Ministère de l'Economie et des Finances. In 2010, he became a member of the European Economic and Social Committee. He has also published a number of works, including Cinq années au service des professions libérales (LGDJ).
