Jérôme Haas’ studies consisted in a bachelors’ degree in law, and diploma from Sciences Po Paris. Following his graduation from the ENA, he became a member of the Direction du Trésor.
He has exercised many responsibilities during his career. In the corporate domain, he was General Secretary of the CIRI, and the deputy director of State Investments; in the international domain, he was a deputy administrator at the World Bank; and the General Secretary of the Paris Club; and, in the domain of French and international regulation, he was a member of the Haut Conseil du Commissariat aux comptes, and of the Financial Stability Board.
On January 15, 2010, he was appointed President of the Autorité des Normes Comptables. He is also a member of the Boards of the AMF and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel (ACP).
