 Claude Cazes holds a diploma from the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences in Montpellier, and a Master’s degree in accounting from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims. He founded CAZES GODDYN in Montpellier in 1980, which is an accounting, auditing, and consulting firm. Furthermore, Claude Cazes was elected multiple times to various positions within accountants’ professional organizations: he was the Regional President of the Institut français des experts comptables et commissaries aux comptes (IFEC) from 1991 to 1995, the National President of the IFEC from 1996 to 1998, the President of the Conseil Supérieur de l’Ordre des Experts Comptables from 2001 to 2003, a member of the bureau de la Compagnie National des Commissaires aux Comptes, and Vice President of the Compagnie régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes.

Claude Cazes is currently the President of the Compagnie Nationale des Commissiares aux Comptes, a Member of the Board of Directors of the MEDEF Languedoc-Roussillon, and a member of the Board of Directors of the URSSAF of Montpellier.
