Jean-Luc Decornoy graduated from the ESSEC and is also an accountant and auditor.

Jean-Luc Decornoy became part of KPMG in 1977. He became a partner in 1988. He was nominated Director-General in 1993, and has been the Chairman of the Board since 2001.

Jean-Luc Decornoy audits the accounts of many large French corporations operating in the distribution, high technology, and energy industries. He is the honorary president of the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes’ Department of Financial Markets (DMF), of which he was either the president or co-president for four years.

Jean-Luc Decornoy is a member of KPMG International’s global board of directors, and is also a member of the Global Executive Team. He is also a member of KPMG’s Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) board and strategic committee.

Jean-Luc Decornoy taught accounting and finance at the ESSEC and the Ecole Centrale de Paris for ten years.
